Council Members:
It is always a great pleasure to highlight the vast and diverse achievements of Council for Quality Growth Members, Board Members, and Board Officers. Over the past month and a half, the Council has had the opportunity to celebrate the recognition of seven current Board Directors, including two past-chairmen and our 2019 incoming Chairman.
Ann Hanlon, Executive Director of Perimeter CIDs, was named one of the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “40 under 40” in recognition of her leadership, both professionally and in her community. The Council for Quality Growth is honored to have Ann serve as its 2019 Chairman.
Tim Lowe, Chairman of Lowe Program Management, was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. Tim continues to serve on the Georgia World Congress Center Authority Board of Directors, an appointment originally made by Governor Sonny Perdue. Tim also served as the 2015 Chairman of the Council for Quality Growth and remains on the Council’s Executive Committee.
Andy Macke, Vice President of External Affairs with Comcast, was elected by the ATL Authority District 1 Electoral Caucus to serve on the Board of Directors of the ATL Authority for District 1. The District 1 Electoral Caucus was comprised of 16 State Representatives, 5 State Senators, 3 County Commission Chairmen, and 1 Mayor. Andy also served as the 2017 Chairman of the Council for Quality Growth and remains on the Council’s Executive Committee.
Marsha Anderson Bomar, Executive Director of the Gateway 85 CID, was elected by the ATL Authority District 2 Electoral Caucus to serve on the Board of Directors of the ATL Authority for District 2. The District 2 Electoral Caucus was comprised of 16 State Representatives, 8 State Senators, 3 County Commission Chairmen, and 1 Mayor. The Council for Quality Growth is proud to have Marsha serve on our Board of Directors.
Teddy Russell, CEO of Russell Landscape, was appointed by Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle to serve on the Board of Directors of the ATL Authority. The Council for Quality Growth is proud to have Teddy serve on our Board of Directors.
Sharon Mason, President & CEO of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. The Council for Quality Growth is proud to have Sharon serve on our Board of Directors.
Michael Sullivan, President & CEO of the American Council of Engineering Companies – Georgia, was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. The Council for Quality Growth is proud to have Michael serve on our Board of Directors.
