The Georgia House Study Committee on Workforce Housing released their report on Thursday, Dec. 5th. Led by Representative Vance Smith, the Workforce Housing Study Committee examined how local and state regulations can present barriers to create and preserve affordable housing options. Council for Quality Growth President, Michael Paris, and 2020 Council Board Chair, Paul Corley, discussed how regulations can hinder developer’s ability to create attainable housing at the study committee’s initial work session.
