The Council is proud to announce the addition of Joseph Santoro to the Council staff as a Senior Policy Analyst.
Joseph comes to the Council with extensive Government Relations and Policy experience. He was previously with the Technology Association of Georgia for four years as the Director of External Affairs. Most recently, he was with Georgia Bio as Vice President of Business Development and External Affairs.
In his role at the Council, he analyzes and interprets local and state policies related to infrastructure planning, legislative initiatives, regulatory issues, land use, transportation, and environmental planning. As a member of the policy team, he works with local and state elected officials to promote balanced and responsible growth in metro Atlanta and Georgia.
Michael Paris, Council President and CEO said, “Joseph’s extensive experience in the policy arena and his relationships at the state capitol and agencies will be a great asset to the Council in our work at all levels of government.”
Joseph thrives and is most passionate when connecting with new people and working closely with elected officials, member organizations, and other stakeholders to solve challenging policy issues that positively impact his business community.
He is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy.
