During its regular board meeting on November 8th, the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) unanimously elected Mayor Andre Dickens to become its new chair. He will be the first ever Atlanta mayor to assume this position.
Dicken’s two-year term will begin on January 1st, 2024. He will succeed Kerry Armstrong who served for a decade as ARC Chair and this year chose not to seek re-election.
