The Race to Regional Connectivity

“Transit Expansion Plans were approved in Cobb County and Gwinnett County in 2023 and their funding mechanisms – a Transit SPLOST (Gwinnett) and Mobility SPLOST (Cobb) – have been approved by each Board of Commissioners for referendum on November 5th, 2024. These transit expansions are urgent and critical. As the Atlanta metro region continues to attract more people and businesses, we must work together to connect our counties and cities with heavy investments in multi-modal transportation. Cobb and Gwinnett transit could transform our region for the better. This ‘race to regional connectivity’ is front-and-center for the Council for Quality Growth in 2024, and our team is proud to be a leading educational resource for November’s referendums.”
