The Director of Administration, James McCurry, of the Georgia Ports Authority presented at the Council’s Strategic Planning Session on Thursday, January 27th. Mr. McCurry shared the latest news regarding the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project (SHEP). The GPA is working closely with federal and state agencies toward the approval of the proposed deepening of the Savannah River by up to six feet.
