On Thursday, June 4, Luz Borrero, the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Development for DeKalb County spoke at the DeKalb County Advisory Committee Meeting at the Druid Hills Country Club. Luz Borrero addressed attendees on the progress of improving DeKalb’s permitting and business license operations to better promote growth in the county. The presentation demonstrated a more efficient and effective permitting process while also discussing future changes. Luz Borrero also discussed and answered questions about the DeKalb County zoning code update. Thank you to all the members who came and participated in the discussion.
