David Martos is a rising junior and Real Estate and Finance double major at the University of Georgia. He one day hopes to work in financial planning, investment banking or commercial real estate. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis and basketball, reading and binge watching TV shows on Netflix. David is excited to intern with the Council for Quality Growth this summer because he feels that he will learn a lot about an aspect of real estate that he hasn’t learned much about yet in school which is regulation, and specifically how regulation affects economic growth and real estate development in the Metro Atlanta area. He also looks forward to attending various meetings and discussions with politicians, contractors and developers. David believes that the “hands on” learning experience with the Council for Quality Growth will be vital to what he wants to do with his Real Estate Studies.
