The Council for Quality Growth, together with MARTG partners co-hosted a successful event supporting Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed at Council for Quality Growth Member Loews Hotel on Monday night.
Council Board Member Scott Selig, of Selig Enterprises, introduced the Mayor and lauded him for his commitment during his term to the development community and enacting, with the work of the Council and our MARTG partners, permit reform and enterprise fund legislation; along with appointing members of the development committee to the City of Atlanta Technical Advisory Committee. Selig reminded the audience that the Mayor had worked to build upon the relationships between the development community and the City.
Guests who attended heard positive news from Mayor Reed regarding the development industry and the positive uptick in the real estate market. The Mayor highlighted his commitment to public safety, building the city’s cash reserves and working with President Obama on the deepening of the Port of Savannah Harbor.
