Forsyth is an up and coming advisory, as the Council expands our membership alongside area development. The Council was successful in working with Board of Commissioners and members of the Planning Department and Planning Commission throughout the process of determining a new definition of “lot.” The definition is simplified and more consistent with surrounding counties and municipalities in order to encourage economic growth and attract new development to Forsyth County. The Forysth advisory has featured updates from county leadership, Cumming city leadership, and our local CID team in recent months.
