On May 22, The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners voted 4-0 to approve the local project list as allowed under the Transportation Investment Act. If the one-cent sales tax is approved in the July 31st referendum, the county will begin to dispense over $133 million to targeted projects in unincorporated Gwinnett. This list includes, but not limited to, major road projects along I-85, rehabilitation and resurfacing, partner projects with cities and CID’s, intersection improvements and school safety improvements.
