We are pleased to announce the moderator of the “Moving Clayton Forward” event is the distinguished President & CEO of Aerotropolis Atlanta, Mr. Shannon James, and the Atlanta Regional Commission Executive Director & CEO, Mrs. Anna Roach.
The Community Development Department (CDD) invites you to an essential regional “Moving Clayton Forward” event to solicit from developers/builders their views on Clayton County’s existing Zoning Ordinance and land development impediments (code and process). Overall, CDD is fostering stakeholders with a forum to:
- To offer feedback on the current Zoning Ordinance and how the Ordinance may be more positively shaped to reimagine our land development codes;
- to attract new development; and
- to ultimately influence the county’s upcoming major Zoning Ordinance rewrite.
The Community Development Department will use the information received during this regional event to prepare Clayton County’s Zoning Ordinance rewrite Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP will be aligned to support both the regional event and the Comprehensive Plan Update 2039.
