On Thursday, August 3, 2023 the Council for Quality Growth hosted the latest of our semi-annual Water Forum programs. The topic of discussion – Sackett v. the EPA. This U.S. Supreme Court decision is a big win for developers, but still leaves a lot to be answered. Gerald Pouncey, Chairman, and Stephen McCullers, Associate with Morris, Manning & Martin met with over 40 Council members and water professionals to discuss the real world impacts of this decision to shrink federal authority of wetlands. Thanks to all who attended this important event. We’ll reconvene for another Water Forum on some of the issues that are left open later this year.
