The State of Cherokee 2021 was presented on January 27th, 2021 at the Cherokee County Conference Center, featuring Cherokee County Board of Commissions Chair, Harry Johnston, Cherokee County Schools Superintendent Chief of Staff, Mike McGowan and Cherokee Office of Economic Development President, Misti Martin.
In collaboration with the Cherokee County Commission office and the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, the address was altered to a hybrid style event featuring a limited, socially distanced in-person audience of 100, and a virtual live stream for those opting to attend online.
The Council collaborates locally across the region to hold a total of 7 State of the County addresses. Check the Council’s Event Page for a full listing of upcoming State of the County events. Contact Rebekah Babovic at rb@councilforqualitygrowth.org to sponsored or attend.
