At its regular meeting on July 23rd, the City Council voted to issue a 180-day emergency extension to the City’s current billboard moratorium. The original moratorium was established in December 2006 for 90-days. It was extended for 120-days in March 2007. The new extension allows the City additional time to resolve a current legal challenge to the City’s Sign Ordinance.
